Opened in July 1989, Sandcastle transformed an old railroad yard that serviced the US Steel Homestead Works mill into a water park that provides shared fun and memory-making opportunities for families and friends with a variety of attractions and experiences for guests of all ages.

Sandcastle is set along the Monongahela River and offers 15 waterslides, the Mon Tsunami Wave Pool, scenic Mushroom Pool, the relaxing lazy river and two children’s areas.
