Splish Splash is the largest water park in the New York area in terms of acreage and number of attractions.

It is located 60 miles east of New York City near the Long Island Expressway.

Since its grand opening in 1991, Splish Splash has more than doubled in size and has been ranked among the top ten US water parks by the Travel Channel. It features 16 rides/slides, wave pools and rivers. It has a kiddies’ area with several attractions and a bird show. Additionally, numerous services are provided to visitors within the park, including restaurants, cabins and locker facilities.

Top attractions include:

• Alien Invasion, opened in 2006, a steep twisting water slide in which up to four visitors at a time descend at high speed on an inflatable raft.
• Tunnel of Terror, opened in 2008, a water ride with high-speed 360 degree spins.
• Mammoth Rider, a river adventure ride for families of up to five members.
